LMES Team Event#9

Apologies if that was unclear:

Two options for first two rounds - and both options to use please

a) DANOZ with Xitech engine (not Xitech/Xitech)...the perceived weakest car
b) Odee or Tetley or McGunnage...whereas you know the restrictions on 2 Odee/Tetley in LMP1.

This means each team must use a dog (Danoz) and a "cherry" in first two rounds. Which and when is up to teams

Grid filled, thanks everyone. Here is your second update involving some work/communication amongst the teammates before we go ahead Oct 12-15th.

As usual, the series will have 5 seasons and it runs through all 4 classes (top down this year for a change), i.e. start with two seasons in LMP1 class. Having a double season at start will give each team two chances to avoid an early knockout. For the fun to play, the series will differ a bit from standard LMES and not allow cherry picking as usual. All suppliers must be communicated by PM to the host before season starts. This should avoid that some teams wait to see choices of others

RULES
1. Tyres: You MUST use different tyres in each round! teams can decide WHEN to use WHICH! 5 Options are Llanelli, Coco, Mitchell, Donelap and Greatyear or Yokouno (either-or, not both)

2. First 4 rounds are Qualifying for The final. Starting Groups will be chosen via www.random.org

3. Point system: Standard LMES Points, aggregate count of Rounds 1 to 4. The Final (Round 5) will start from scratch, each team will have 0 points at start

4. Rounds 1 and 2: LMP1 Class/8 teams each in 3 groups
- Each team MUST use DANOS with Xitech engine in one of the rounds and will get a free choice between Odee or Tetley or McGunnage in the other one. Up to you to decide which option to take for which round (remember that Odee/Tetley are restricted to 4 teams per round)
- After end of Round 2 elimination of 4 lowest ranked teams, regardless of group!

5. Round 3: LMP2 class/10 teams each in 2 groups
- Groups will be re-allocated by ranking: Top 10 will play group A, lowest 10 ranked will play Group B.
- Free choice of chassis/engine except Gunnage
- Knock-out of 4 lowest ranked teams, regardless of group!

6. Round 4: GTS/8 teams each in 2 groups
- Groups will be re-allocated by ranking: Top 8 will play group A, lowest 8 ranked will play Group B
- Choice of US cars only, either RetroVet or Lodge
- Knock-out of 6 lowest ranked teams, regardless of group!

7. The Final in Round 5: GT/10 best teams surviving in one group
- Free choice of chassis/engine

Worth to note:
DRIVERS title is not your key target here, you need to rely on your teammate. If someone really has obligations outside of BAT and needs a sabbatical during the series, please inform your teammate and the host. I will ensure that a replacement will be found swiftly. Team names should be unchanged throughout contest and at least one driver must finish all 4 rounds (if both drivers need to be replaced, the team will be kicked from the game).
