Free choice of DC all series this time

The LMES Team Event will be back for season #8. Starting marketing well in advance to give you time to reserve a private slot for start around OCTOBER 10th and allow for 6 months of play. Aiming for a grid of 20 teams again

 

As usual, the series will have 5 seasons and it runs through all 4 classes bottom up , i.e. start with two seasons in GT class. Having a double season at start will give each team two chances to avoid an early knockout. As usual, the series will differ a bit from standard LMES and not allow cherry picking as usual.  DCs are free choice all 5 seasons. Special rules will be communicated per class

 

Qualifying rounds 1 to 4 and rules:

-   Rounds 1 and 2: GT Class with 10 teams in each group. Each team must do an Italian Job (mandatory use of Lantorino/Llanelli) in one of the rounds and will get a free choice of everything in the other one. Up to you to decide which option to take for which round

After end of Round 2 elimination of 2 lowest ranked teams, regardless of group!

 

-         Round 3: GTS class with 9 teams in each group. Groups will be re-allocated by ranking: Top 9 will play group A, lowest 9 ranked will play Group B. Choice between Yakuza (Toyoma/Yokouno) or American Heroes (RetroVet/Greatyear). Knock-out of 4 lowest ranked teams, regardless of group!

 

-         Round 4: LMP2 with 7 teams in each group. Groups will be re-allocated by ranking: Top 7 will play group A, lowest 7 ranked will play Group B. (No Gunnage, choice of all other chassis/engines). Only tyres from Mitchell, Donelap or Coco may be used. Knock-out of 4 lowest ranked teams, regardless of group!

       

     The Final
  Round 5: LMP1 in ONE Group with 10 best teams surviving (all start with 0 points!). No Odee/No Tetley – exact car combos to be communicated in game

 

Point system:

Standard LMES Points, aggregate count of Rounds 1 to 4.

 

Hoping for a good feedback to gather a field of 20 teams = 40 players. Game will run in 2 parallel groups for a virtual battle. Initial Group Allocation by Random Drawing

 

DRIVERS title is not your key target here, you need to rely on your teammate. Team names should be unchanged throughout contest and at least one driver must finish all 4 rounds (if both drivers need to be replaced, the team will be kicked from the game).

 

 All suppliers must be communicated by PM to the host before season starts. This should avoid some teams waiting to see others choices

If you are interested to participate pls negotiate with a teammate of choice. At this point in time I’d like to exclude double accounting (may not be the final word on it and if someone wants to self team or play with two accounts please let me know).
