LMES Team Event #5

update: All Teams have submitted Team Names and supplier choice. Group Draw done - see screenshot below

The LMES Team Event is back for #5.Expected to start end September

The game will run through all 4 classes bottom up, i.e. start with GT. All points from GT, GTS & LMP2 will be aggregate/carried forward and knock-outs will be triggered on combined points. Hopefully we can get 20 teams = 40 players lined up again to build 2 parallel groups. Start Groups by Random Drawing

Qualifying rounds:

-         Round 1: GT Class with 10 teams in each group (knock-out of 2 teams with least points, regardless of group!)

-         Round 2: GTS class with 9 teams in each group. Groups will be re-allocated by ranking: Top 9 will play group A, lowest 9 ranked will play Group B. Knock-out of 4 teams with least AGGREGATE points, regardless of group!)

-         Round 3: LMP2 with 7 teams in each group. Groups will be re-allocated by ranking: Top 7 will play group A, lowest 7 ranked will play Group B. Knock-out of 4 teams with least AGGREGATE points, regardless of group!
       

      The Final
        Round 4: LMP1 in ONE Group with 10 best teams surviving (start with 0 points)

DRIVERS title is not your key target here, you need to rely on your teammate. Team names should be unchanged throughout contest and at least one driver must finish all 4 rounds (if both drivers need to be replaced, the team will be kicked from the game).

This series should differ a bit from standard LMES and not allow cherry picking and DC choice as usual. Special rules will be communicated per class

GT rules:

-       No Greatyear or Yokuno tyres available

-       You want a Porsche or Lantorino? Only available with Coco tyres and DCs BENDER/LUCKY/COOL/AGGRESSIVE

-       Any BMW or Trevor can go with flexible choice of DC but must have tyres from either Llanelli, Donelap or Mitchell 

-       All suppliers must be communicated by PM tot he host before registration. This should avoid some teams waiting to see others choices

If you are interested to participate pls negotiate with a teammate of choice. At this point in time I’d like to exclude double accounting (may not be the final word on it). If someone doesn’t have a teammate pls take a look at my blogspot where you can find other players looking for teammates

- Can all teams who haven’t done it so far submit TEAM NAME and choice of suppliers for GT round by Sep 27th noon Europe latest- Group Allocation via www.random.org on Sep 27th pm- Games will be created Sep 27th evening and invites to be sent out via PM- Sep 28th to Oct 6th sign up period and time for practice runs- Game start Oct 7th
